Sensational Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, has threatened to pull out of the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and fly back to Turkey.
This is coming after his hot altercation with Ademola Lookman during their 4-0 win over Mozambique on Monday.
The 27-year-old forward had lashed out at his team-mate for failing to pass to him in the 64th minute.
Having scored a brace, thanks to assists from Lookman, Osimhen who was well positioned in the 18 yard box, expected another pass from him.
He was however thoroughly disappointed following the former’s failure to give him the much expected pass, leading to the hot altercation.
He then beckoned on the bench asking to be taken off, before he was replaced by Moses Simon.
At full time, Osimhen stormed out of the stadium and dropped his accreditation card, insisting he was “done” with the national team and wanted to fly back to Turkey.
He, was however, pacified by senior officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
