Even while he is yet to complete six months of his second term, United States of America’s President Donald Trump, says he may possibly seek a third term in office.
However, it is pertinent to note that while the American Constitution under the 22nd Amendment prohibits it, Trump has stated in some of his most extensive comments to date about serving a third term.
In a phone interview with NBC News, the US President said there were methods available to him to make a third run for the White House. And he said he was not joking about it.
“A lot of people want me to do it. But, I mean, I basically tell them we have a long way to go, you know, it’s very early in the administration.
“Many scientists planning to leave US over Trump’s policies. I’m focused on the current, he said.
When he was asked if he wanted another term, he responded, “I like working.”
He, however, added that “it is far too early to think about it.”
