Australia: Two Bodies Found Inside Home At Arncliffe In Southern Sydney

Two bodies were on Tuesday discovered inside a home on Knight St at Arncliffe in southern Sydney, Australia.

The grim find was reported to NSW Police about 2 pm (local time).

Authorities believe that the bodies, those of a man and a woman found in separate rooms, had been there for some time.

While their identities have not yet been confirmed, the man is believed to be aged in his 70s and the woman aged in her 90s.

Their bodies appear to have been at the location “for a considerable amount of time”, NSW Police said.

The pair is believed to be a mother and son who had lived in the home for many years but had not answered calls for about five weeks, as reported by The Daily Telegraph.

The outlet reports the son, who was caring for his elderly mother, is suspected to have died first.

His mother is believed to have died some time later.

A crime scene has been established and investigations are underway.
