Former Presidential spokesman, Dr. Adedoyin Ajibike Okupe, better known as Dr Doyin Okupe, is dead.
He died in the early hours of Friday at a private hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos, at 72.
Okupe who hailed from Iperu Ijebu, Ogun State, Western Nigeria, was spokesman to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
He also served as Special Assistant to former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
He was a physician and politician who co-founded Royal Cross Medical Centre and was the National Publicity Secretary of National Republican Convention.
The family of the deceased is yet to make official pronouncement on his demise.
