Crime Fighting: Oba of Benin Charges Edo CP Otimenyin to Remain Focused

The Benin Monarch, Oba Ewuare II, has charged the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Betty Enekpen Otimenyin, to remain focused in the business of crime fighting and prevention.

He gave the charge on Friday, when he received the first female and indigenous CP in the State on a courtesy call in his palace.

The Oba who spoke in Edo Language said, “The Palace is very pleased with you. We are seeing what you are doing over there. May God and our ancestors empower you to do more.

“We look forward to your rising. We will keep praying for you. May Edo be peaceful for you, your men and for all of us. The palace and the throne are behind you.”

CP Otimenyin who also spoke in Edo Language, described her deployment to the State as home-coming.

Otimenyin who promised to raise the bar of policing to greater heights in the State, solicited for prayers from the Ọba 5o enavme her succeed.
