The Confidence of Registered Political Parties (CRPP), has commiserated with members of the Correspondents’ Chapel the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, over the sudden death of the Correspondent of ThisDay Newspaper, Mr. Austin Adibe Emenyonu.

National Chairman of CRPP, Dr Samson Isibor, in a condolence message to the Chapel, described the decease as a versatile and fearless journalist who was very coordinated, humble and easy going.
“The CRPP enjoyed unparalleled relationship with him. He was among the fearless pen merchants who made us strong in Edo State politics and Nigeria in general.
“This untimely death in the Fourth Estate of the Realm in Edo State is one too many in recent years. Our prayer is that the Almighty God helps put a stop to this unexpected tragedy.
“We pray that Mr. Adibe’s soul rest in perfect peace and may God grant his family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” he said.
While acknowledging the harsh condition under which journalists practice, Dr. Isibor appealed to the State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, to grant Edo journalists automatic membership of the State’s health insurance scheme.
The CRPP boss who prayed for the repose of the deceased, promised to take active part in his burial.
