Nigeria’s oil and gas sector gets a boost with the commencement of a 5-day training program for 100 youths in Meter Assembly, Installations, and Calibration, in Lagos State.
The training which started on January 19, 2026, is sponsored by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in partnership with Inter Core Solutions Limited.
It is designed to provide hands-on training and practical experience to the participants, and will enable participants to acquire the skills required to assemble, install, and calibrate meters used in the oil and gas industry.
The training programme is part of the efforts to enhance the skills and knowledge of Nigerian youths, enabling them to participate meaningfully in the industry.
Participants will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge in meter assembly, installations, and calibration.
It will further enhance their employability and contributing to the growth and development of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria.
Upon completion, the participants will receive certificates, recognizing their proficiency in meter assembly, installations, and calibration.
The NCDMB and Inter Core Solutions partnership aims to promote capacity building and human capital development in the oil and gas industry.
